For schools and colleges

PredictionStreet aims to improve financial literacy in a way students find engaging rather than dry. Each case puts a real company in front of them — Domino’s, Microsoft, Tesla and others — frozen at a point in the past. Students read what was known at the time: the accounts, the news, the wider economy. Then they make a call: buy, hold or sell, with a price target and a short written reason. Only after they commit do they see what actually happened, and they get feedback on the quality of their reasoning, not just whether they were right.

It suits Year 12 and 13 students taking Economics, Business or Maths, and anyone considering finance, accounting or economics at university. A case takes about 15 minutes on a laptop, so it works as a lesson starter, a homework task or an enrichment session. Students who do well can earn a PredictionStreet Equity Research Certificate to mention in applications and on their CV.

Group access

£5 per student, certificate included. You receive one code to share with your class, and each student signs up with it. Student accounts are hidden from the public leaderboard by default.
